Founded in 1994 by Walter Bovetti, Bovetti chocolates are hand decorated in a state of the art factory which combines traditional hand-made work and industrial rigour. Bovetti use only top grade raw materials, pure cocoa butter and no soya lecithin. In 2006, Walter Bovetti along with 5 chocolate making friends created the ethical/fairtrade association named Roca Cacao in Sao Tomé to sponsor replanting projects on the island and finance the purchasing of fermentation and drying equipment for the cocoa pods.
