We thought you may have one or two questions whilst visiting our Online Shop, so we have put some of the most common questions and their answers here:
My order has not arrived yet? Sometimes orders are delayed, this is out of our control. Please check with a neighbour who may have accepted your order or you may have been carded - please follow instructions on the card to get your order. Check with the Royal Mail sorting office as sometimes cards are lost or not left.
I Wish to add a gift note but there is nowhere to put this information?
To use this feature click 'CHECKOUT' button.
My card has been declined but I know there is enough money in my account? Your address must be where the card is registered to, if you need to send it to a work address use the different shipping address section in the checkout.
Can you deliver outside of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland?
We deliver to England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland using 1st and 2nd class postage and courier. We will also ship to the rest of the world please select 'Europe Airmail' if you are in the EU, for the rest of the world please use USA Airmail/Rest of World. There may be extra charges to or service limits to some types of delivery please see our delivery section.
How will I know when my Order is being Despatched/Ready for Collection?
When your order has been picked, packed and ready for despatch or collection we will email you to let you know. Sometimes e-mails are blocked or lost and may not get through and we may not be able to contact you.
What happens if something I order is out of stock?
If an item you order is out of stock when you place your order, we will let you know if we are not expecting it to be delivered to us in the next few working days. We do our utmost to ensure that all stock is available, so that this situation rarely arises.
The Buy Now button is missing and I want to buy the item?
If the buy now button is missing the item is out of stock or it may be a seasonal line for Christmas or Easter
Will I have to sign for my parcel when it arrives?
You will have to sign for all deliveries, this will let us know that you have received your order. When you place your order, you can choose an alternative delivery address, if you wish.
How can I pay for my order?
You can pay for your order using your Debit/ Credit Cards through WORLDPAY secure e-payments system. Alternately you can pay over the phone by card 10.30am to 4.30pm weekdays.
Do you accept Wholesale Orders?
Yes, but please email our Customer Services team (the email address is on the Contact Us page) with your Name, Address and details of the quantities and products you require. We can then calculate a Bulk Rate for you which is likely to be more cost effective.
Can you directly deliver an order to someone else as a present?
When you place your order you will be asked for two addresses 1) The Billing Address and 2) The Delivery Address. The Billing Address must match the address registered to your Credit or Debit Card (or your order will not be processed). You can set the Delivery Address to an alternative address, if you wish.
How long in the future will the Best Before End date be?
All items will have a minimum BBE of 6 weeks unless stated and in this case we will give the date in the description which may of expired, as all items have a BBE date so they will all be fine to be eaten after and are perfectly legal to sell.
Can I order from outside of your Delivery Zone to an address in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland or Wales?
Yes, if your Payment Details are accepted by our payment providers. We cannot accept orders from outside the UK to addresses outside the UK
Refunds & Returns
As our goods are perishable they do not come under the Distance Selling Regulations. However if you are not happy with the quality of your goods please email us and will will endevour to fix this.
Refunds for late or missing goods will be after the alotted time specified by the delivery service used eg Royal Mail is 15 working days from expected delivery date.
